Size Guide
Getting the right fit for your dog is the key to their comfort and safety. To make sure you choose the perfect size, please follow our simple measuring guide below. All you'll need is a flexible measuring tape!
A great tip for both collars and harnesses is the "two-finger rule": once you've taken the measurement, you should be able to comfortably slip two fingers between the tape and your dog's neck or chest. This ensures the fit is snug, but not too tight.
How to Measure for a Collar
-
Have your dog stand or sit comfortably.
-
Wrap the measuring tape around the part of your dog's neck where the collar will naturally sit.
-
Apply the two-finger rule to ensure a comfortable fit.
-
Note down the measurement. Use this measurement to find the corresponding size on the product page. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
How to Measure for a Harness
-
Most of our harnesses require two key measurements for the best fit: the neck and the chest.
-
Neck Measurement: Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your dog's neck (the thickest part, just above the shoulders). Apply the two-finger rule.
-
Chest Measurement: Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your dog's chest, which is usually right behind their front legs.
-
Note down both measurements and compare them to the size chart on the specific product page. As with collars, if your dog is between sizes, it's always safest to size up.
Getting the size just right can sometimes be tricky. If you have any questions or need a little help choosing the best fit for your furry friend, please don't hesitate to send us an email at info@baileysworld.com.au or through this page.
